Select photographs that I've taken in various location in the US. Most of these are in the Central Florida area, and as you'll see I have an avian preference.

Reddish Egret on Mangroves
This is my favorite wading bird the Reddish Egret. The only place that I've been fortunate to see one is at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and to this point I still have not been able to get a real sharp shot... this is the best so far. Lucky for me MINWR is about an hour of Orlando!
I'm newly 40 and a fairly new dad. I work in the GIS field for an engineering firm, and I'm also an Adjunct Professor of GIS at the University of Central Florida. My hobby is photography and thus the purpose of this blog... enjoy!
